Additionally, immediate support of 150 million euros and long-term aid of 900 million euros have been allocated. However, the disbursement of funds is contingent on the approval of the ongoing negotiation of a nearly $2 billion loan with the International Monetary Fund.

Italy’s Prime Minister Meloni extended an invitation to Tunisia’s President Kais Saied to participate in an international conference on migration, scheduled for July 23.
